Long time no see!

Long time, no blog.

Had all four tyres punctured by punks last weekend... found new ones on TradeMe for $15 each, thank god. Now the wof has run out, but I needed new tyres anyway. Firestone put them on for me, kudos to them! wonderful fellas.

I was almost financially up to date till this happened. I will be again, if it kills me!

Seriously... the naughtees depression isn't that bad, but everyone's talking about it. I'm even thinking of taking on a part time job to give me something to do in the mornings. It's boring setting up Xtra's new modems! Give me a call!

Oh my god it's cold!  

Why is it that we're allowed to wear colourful snuggly warm things to bed, but we can't go out in public with them on?

What's wrong with wearing fluffy slippers and a bathrobe outside?   Piffle.

I'm going to cheat.  I got some fluffy ug boots that I'm going to live in until it's summer again.  

Will people notice a hottie zipped up inside my jacket?  Why can't they just make an undershirt out of wheatbag stuff, and you just zap it in the BP microwave when it cools down again?

Wow.. took ages to find a good chat program to put on here :)

I hope it works.  If it does, people can just chat me to say what their problem is while they're toodling around on their computers.  Nice and easy!

I thought, in my misguided way, that this blog would be good for when I have to take someone's pc back to the 'office' to work on.  People could get updates and learn some more cursewords while I worked on their computers.

Friend pointed out that if I had their computers... 

You see where this is going?  sigh.

The Usual

Weird couple of days.  Every time I drive around someone tries to kill themselves or me in the car.  Followed a truck through the waitaks the other day and he was yakking on his cellphone trying to get around roundabouts, taking up both lanes, doing 40k's using his ELBOW to turn the steering wheel when changing gear (I could see him in his large mirrors) and had his right indicator on the whole way.  amazing.

Had a motorbike go into my lane from the right lane after the lights, he must have thought I was turning right.  Short lifespan for that sucker.  I swear, I'm running out of words to call these bastards.  

Saw a cool bumper sticker tho:  'waitakere is ALREADY a super city!'  Lovely.

Had sod all work this week, and heaps of people wanting me to pay them.  Sigh.  I've gotta stop telling people how to fix their own bleeding computers or I'll be out of work!

Anyways... got some wine, got nothing good on telly, and got the cats fed and toilet paper in the bog.  Life is good.  I wonder what's going to screw it up for me this week?

Lets see what all the fuss with blogging is all about :)  

Thought this might be a bit of fun, and a good way to waste time.

Currently:  Waiting for someone to come and collect his computer.  He moved, and I didn't get his new phone number.  It's his only computer, so he must be missing it!  Been waiting since last Friday, but he's a truckie by the sounds of it and got redirected down the island.  The roads are shyte, so I hope he's ok!

I've got to go fix a friends wireless too, as soon as she calls.  I hate networks!  I hate the fact she lives in another area, so it's not just a 'pop in and see me' deal either.  Traffic will be rubbish on the way back.  I hate that it's soo fragging cold too!  That said, I may get myself a wee treat on the way home to make it all nicer.  

Oh pfft.  Just remembered I'm sposed to go to a client after the network fix, but his shop is probably going to be closed by the time I've finished!
